Did you know some national parks have free days?
Call your local national park to find out when these are so you can plan an inexpensive day out.
Museums and other historical buildings also have free tours and entrance on some days as well.
Make some sandwiches and pack some beverages to have a cheap and educational but fun day with your children, or a cheap date for those on budget.
A nice walk down a historical area or park can be relaxing and fun. You could be surprised at the history all around. Do a google search of your town or closest city’s name and add “historic” to the search to find some interesting places.
